I made progress on decoding FT8 over the past weeks, but my writing process detached from that work.
I kept thinking, “I should write about this.”, but the problem-solving and learning is too compelling. I chose tinkering and experimenting over writing every time.
So I’m trying something different.
I have added new limitation on my strict Socratic-mode LLM tutor. Preventing it from ever writing any code or solving any problems has been helpful. I’m keeping that.
Plus, my new limitation is that I can’t use dsp concepts until I define them properly in my own words. That, together with my new digital-garden approach to this site, will serve as the outline for this next phase.
